Description

A tesseract is a 4-dimensional object. Each of those spaces is actually a cube, but they are distorted because of projection to a lower dimension.

The center cube is not in the larger cube. It is the same problem as drawing a front-facing cube on 2D paper. It looks like a square in a square, but we know that the "smaller" square is not in the other square. It just looks like it is. The same thing happens here.
